Paper Plane Academy

From our friends at JonesChijoff:

“Igloo have been the creative brains behind the website for the Paper Plane Academy. They have turned a very ordinary looking splash page into an exciting, interactive & playful site that directly hits its mark with its intended audience. The site is the essence of what the Paper Plane Academy is about & sets the bar high for the actual workshop. Igloo’s professional, collaborative & responsive approach has been a highlight in putting the PPA together. We look forward to working with them again in the future. The site www.paperplaneacademy.com went live last week, so check it out & sign up before spaces run out.”

Igloo Zoom Zooms

June 18, 2009

igloo has been appointed by Mazda Australia as its new digital agency.

igloo was successful in winning the Mazda business in a competitive pitch which comprised a shortlist of five leading digital agencies.

Igloo, founded in 1994, specialises in collaborating with clients to provide strategic and innovative digital solutions that achieve measurable results.

It was this innovative approach that impressed Mazda and led the manufacturer of Australia’s number one small car to choose igloo to deliver the next generation of digital to a new generation of Mazda customers.

Andrew Englisch, igloo chief executive and co-founder comments: “We are very excited to be collaborating with Mazda to develop some amazing new digital initiatives. Our pioneering and strategic approach will help Mazda to continue to build on their leading position in the Australian automotive market.”

Mazda is Australia’s top-selling full-line importer of motor vehicles, accounting for over 8 percent of the Australian market. The Mazda3 continues to make in-roads with new car buyers and has just been named the country’s highest-selling small car and number two passenger car overall.

Alastair Doak, National Marketing Manager at Mazda Australia said: “We are looking forward to working closely with igloo to deliver an engaging and informative experience for new and existing Mazda customers.

igloo works with nationally recognised brands from the media, entertainment, leisure, hospitality and now automotive sectors.

Masks

I’m sure all of you have heard of the Swine Flu and the number of death cases around the world. Serious stuff. I’ve already seen a few people down on Swanston Street wearing surgical masks on the street. I’ve spotted a Burberry plaid print and a even a Hello Kitty print. Tacky. What I’ve stumbled on the web is some pretty cool art styles on these masks. If you got to protect yourself, do it with style!
