Angie igloo cropMy first week at igloo actually commenced before my first “official” first week at igloo.

The “unofficial” week included an induction (1/2) day and meeting the new eskimo’s who were going to pioneer the way forward for igloo.  It was then followed by a very informative & comical look (thanks for the pics boys) into the history, passion & the future of igloo by the Three Amigos.

With 4 days away from igloo (still finishing my previous job), I was back there for a photo shoot & a Friday night out with the gang to the Mazda Foundation Ball.  I had never seen so many glow sticks on the dance floor (was I at a rave or a ball?)…. It was a great night of dancing or should I say waltzing with igloo’s CFO Michael Burgess to Wild Horses.

Now that my first official week is over, I know now there is only one way to do a job…. “properly”.  With the fun that I have had in the past week, learning from the boss Andrew Englisch and understanding what each eskimo does and who the clients are, igloo take what they do very seriously and want to make sure the client gets what they set out to achieve.

I am loving working on a MAC (although very foreign for someone who has come from PC land) and listening to some great tunes….. I am still waiting on some Ethiopian Jazz Jonny!

As for Bridge Rd being so close, my credit card has definitely taken a hit.

Got something to say. Then say it.
